A dried gum from a western asian bush. It improves consistency in lozenges.

This gentle and nourishing botanical possesses soothing properties. Commonly referred to as Marigold, this annual herb is from the Family Asteraceae, the Sunflower Family. The Calendula plant is comprised of carotenoids, flavonoids and essential oils.

According to the Commission E monograph, preparations of Echinacea angustifolia are used to support and promote the powers of resistance of the body, especially in infectious conditions (influenza, colds, etc.) in the nose and throat (see The Complete Commission E Monographs, American Botanical Council, 1st ed. 1998, p. 328). Weleda uses biodynamically-grown Echinacea angustifolia.

Chamomile possess gentle properties that make skin feel soothed and smooth.
