Betaine is an amino acid derivative and occurs both in plants and in the human organism. In cosmetic products, Betaine is used as a moisturizer in products for the skin as well as the hair, as it is able to absorb and release water. Betaine is obtained from sugar molasses.

Tapioca is the starch gained from the cassava (manioc) root. It is a white powder that is used in cosmetic products to improve consistency.

Isoamyl Laurate is a fatty acid ester that is used as an emulsifier in emulsions. It helps smooth the skin and can be used as a conditioner in hair care products. Isoamyl Laurate is made from vegetable oils and sugar derivatives.

Xanthan Gum is a high molecular weight, long chain carbohydrate (polysaccharide), which is used as a gelling agent, emulsion stabilizer, binder and viscosity regulator.

Hectorite is a dermatological compatible mineral bulking agent and stabilizer for emulsions, creams, toothpastes, gels or powder. It is a weathering product of various feldspars, which are considered the most important rock-forming minerals of the earth's crust.

Safflower Seed Oil is easily absorbed by the skin and thus supports its barrier function. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for sensitive and dry skin.

Jojoba Seed Oil is an oily liquid wax that is very similar to the protective layer of the human skin. It is very skin friendly, easily absorbed and is therefore a suitable care product for all skin types, especially for dry skin.

Pure babassu oil melts on the skin and leaves a pleasant cooling effect. It is quickly absorbed and leaves the skin smooth and silky. Babassu oil maintains the skin's moisture. It is suitable for all skin types.

The willow bark extract contains – among others - salicin and polyphenols. Willow bark extract has antimicrobial and skin-softening properties.

In cosmetic products liquorice root extracts are used because of their soothing effect.
